The TPS61121 features a 3.3V 95% efficiency boost converter with a 1.5V 200mA LDO for single/dual-cell Li-ion battery applications

The TPS6112x device provides a complete power solution for products powered by a single cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer or two to 4 alkaline batteries, NiCd or NiMH batteries. These devices can produce two regulated outputs that are either externally regulated by a resistor divider or fixed to the voltage inside the chip. It also provides a maximum output of at least 200 mA for power generation with a supply voltage down to the current 3.3 1.8 V, and the fifth section of Li-Ion or Li-Polymer batteries makes a simple solution for implementing a boost converter that is a fixed-frequency-based, pulse-width modulated (PWM) controller using a synchronous rectifier for maximum benefit. The boost switch with maximum peak current is limited to 1600 mA.
