The TPS61220 features a low input voltage 0.7V boost converter with 5.5μA quiescent current

The TPS6122x family of devices provides a power solution for products powered by a single-cell, two- or three-cell alkaline, NiCd or NiMH battery, or a single-cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer battery. The possible output currents depend on the ratio of input to output voltage. The boost converter is based on a hysteresis controller using synchronous rectification to obtain the lowest quiescent current efficiency topology. The adjustable version of the output voltage can be set externally by an external resistor divider or internally with a fixed output voltage. The converter can be turned off by a characteristic enable pin. And turned off, battery consumption is minimized. The device measures 2 mm × 2 mm in a 6-pin SC-70 package (DCK) for small circuit layout size.
