TPS6755 is an adjustable reverse DC/DC converter that requires only 2.7 V of low external components from commission to operation: an inductor, an output filter capacitor, an input filter capacitor, a reference of filter capacitors, two resistors and a Schottky rectifier. The output voltage provided by the enabling input when the inverter is turned off is not required. The typical supply current is 1.9 mA of no-load and is further reduced to 1 uA when the enabling input is low.

The device features a 160 kHz current-mode pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller and a P-channel MOSFET power switch. The gate driver uses the output of the converter to reduce the wafer area and achieve the desired 0.4 - MOSFETs. Soft start is complete, with a small SS capacitance increasing.
