Description/Ordering Information

The TRSF3232E consists of two line drivers, a two-wire receiver, and a dual charge pump with ± 15-kV ESD protection PIN-to-PIN (Serial Port Connection Pin, Including Ground) circuitry. An electrical interface between this device provides an asynchronous communication controller and a serial port connector. The charge pump and four small external capacitors allow for operation from a single 3-V to a 5.5 V supply. The TRSF3232E operates at a data signal rate of up to 1 Mbit/s and a slew rate of 150 V/μs with a driver output of 14 V/μs.
