Overview:
The TSL230RD programmable light-to-frequency converter combines a configurable silicon photodiode current-to-frequency converter with a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit. The output can be a pulse train or a square wave (duty cycle of 50%) with a light intensity proportional to frequency. The sensitivity of the device can be selected in three ranges, providing a twenty-year difference full-scale output frequency that can be scaled by four presets. All inputs and outputs are TTL compatible, allowing direct two-way communication with microcontroller programming and output interfaces. Output enable (OE) is where multiple units of the microcontroller's input line are output in a high impedance state. Product Features:
