Overview:
The TSL2569 is a highly sensitive voltage-varying light-to-digital converter capable of direct I²C interface digital signal output. The device combines a broadband photodiode (visible plus infrared) and an infrared response with a single CMOS integrated circuit capable of providing an effective photodiode with a photopic response near 20-bit dynamic range (16-bit resolution). Two integrated ADCs convert to digital outputs that represent the current of the radiometric photodiode on each channel. This digital output can be input to a microprocessor to approximate the human eye response using an empirical formula for lux illuminance (ambient light level). The TSL2569 device supports legacy horizontal style interrupts that remain valid until the firmware clears it. Product Features:
