The TVP5160 device is a high-quality, digital video decoder that digitizes and decodes all popular video baseband analog video formats into digital component video. The TVP5160 decoder supports A/component YPbPr with RGB (SCART) signals, as well as A/D conversion and NTSC format, PAL standard decoding D-conversion and SECAM composite and S-video composition of YCbCr. In addition, component line-by-line signals are digitized. The chip includes two 11-bit, 60 MSPS, A/D converters (ADCs). Each ADC is preceded by an analog circuit that clamps on the input reference voltage for a programmable gain and offset. There are a total of 12 video inputs that can be configured as a combination of chromatic, RGB, CVBS inputs, and S-Video video inputs.
