The TW9912 is a low-power NTSC/PAL/SECAM video decoder chip that also supports analog component video inputs. The video decoder decodes baseband analog CVBS or S-video signals into digital 8-bit 4:2:2 YCbCr format. Analog component video digitization to 8-bit YCbCr format. The digital output supports the standard BT.656 format for interlaced video. When receiving a progressive component input or converting interlaced video into progressive format via an internal deinterlacing engine, it can also output progressive BT.656 format. The TW9912 uses analog and digital I/O power supplies, 3.3V supply voltage and 1.8V. A single 27MHz crystal is required to decode all analog video standards.
