UC2524 Description:

In the UC1524, UC2524 and UC3524 are integrated into a single chip all for the functions required for the construction of specification power supplies, inverters and switching regulators. They can also be used as control factors for applications with high power output. The family's UC1524 switching regulator is designed with any polarity, transformer coupled DC-to-DC converter, transformer voltage multiplier and polarity converter application using fixed frequency, pulse width modulation technology. This dual alternating output allows for single-ended or push-pull applications. Each device includes an on-chip reference, error amplifier, programmable oscillator, pulse steering flip-flop, two uncommitted output transistors, high-gain comparator, current limiting, and shutdown circuitry.
