The UC2577 - ADJ equipment provides all the necessary to implement active-acting step-up (boost), flyback, and forward converter switching regulators. With only a few components, these simple regulators effectively provide 60V as a boost regulator and even higher voltages as flyback converters or transponders.

The UC2577 - ADJ features a wide input voltage range of 3.0V to 40V and adjustable output voltage. The on-chip 3.0A NPN switch is included in undervoltage lockout, overtemperature protection circuitry and current limiting, as well as soft-start mode operation to reduce start-up current. Other features include a 52kHz fixed frequency without external components and better line and load regulation of the current-mode control on-chip oscillator.
