The ADJ equipment in UC2577 - provides all the necessary step-up (boost), flyback and forward converter switching regulators for active action. With only a few components required, these simple regulators effectively provide as a boost regulator of 60V and as a flyback converter or transponder for even higher voltages.

The UC2577-ADJ features a wide input voltage range of 3.0V to 40V and adjustable output voltage. The on-chip 3.0A NPN switch is included with undervoltage lockout, overtemperature protection circuitry and current limiting, and soft-start mode operation to reduce start-up current. Other features include a 52kHz fixed frequency with no external components and better line and load regulation current mode control on-chip oscillator.
