Product introduction

The PWM control IC UC1823 series is best suited for high frequencies in switching power supply applications. Special attention is given to minimizing the propagation delay of the amplifier logic circuit by comparing and maximizing the bandwidth and slew rate of the error. The controller is designed for either current mode or voltage mode systems with input voltage feed-forward functionality.

Protection circuitry includes a current-limit comparator, compatible TTL-shutdown port, and soft-start pin, which doubles to the maximum duty cycle clamp. The logic where full locking provides free operation of jitter, prohibiting multiple pulses at the output. The same 800mV hysteresis undervoltage lockout ensures low start-up current.
