Product Introduction

The UC3823A with UC3823B and UC3825A with UC3825B PWM controller series are improved standard UC3823 and UC3825 home versions. The number of circuit blocks that have been made for performance enhancements. The product of the gain bandwidth of the error amplifier is 12 MHz, while the input offset voltage is 2 millivolts. The current limit threshold is guaranteed to a tolerance of 5%. The oscillator has a discharge current of 10 milliamps for accurate dead-time control. Frequency accuracy increased to 6%. The start-up supply current, at 100μA typical, is ideal for off-line applications. The output drivers are all redesigned to aggressively sink without current start-up current specification charges during UVLO. In addition, the peak current capability of 2 per output is in transition.
