The control IC UC2842A/3A/4A/5A family is a pin-compatible series of improved versions of the UC2842/3/4/5 pins. Providing the necessary functions to control the current mode switching power supply, this home has the following improved features. The starting current is guaranteed to be less than 0.5 mA. The oscillator discharge trimmed to 8.3 milliamps. In undervoltage lockout, the output stage can absorb less than 5 volts of 10mA to at least five volts of 1.2 volts
