Product introduction

The UC2856 is a high performance version of the popular UC2846 current mode controller series and is important for designing new application upgrades and intentions in speed and accuracy. All input and output delays are minimized and the current sense output slew rate is limited to reduce noise susceptibility. A peak output stage of fast 1.5 has been added to allow fast switching of the power FETs.

The low-impedance TTL-compatible synchronous output acts as a synchronous input when the three-state function is implemented.

The grounding of the internal chip has been improved to reduce noise caused by internal driving large capacitive loads. This, combined with an improved differential current-sense amplifier, enhances noise immunity.
