The UC1524, UC2524 and UC3524 are integrated in a single chip all for the functions required for the construction of regulated power supplies, inverters and switching regulators. They can also be used as a control factor for applications with high power output. The family of UC1524's switching regulators are designed for any polarity, transformer-coupled DC-DC converters, transformer voltage multipliers and polarity converter applications using fixed frequency, pulse-width modulation techniques. This dual alternating output allows single-ended or push-pull applications. Each device includes an on-chip reference, error amplifier, programmable oscillator, pulse steering trigger, two uncommitted output transistors, high gain comparator, current limit, and shutdown circuitry.
