ThePWM control ICs of the UC1823 series are best suited for high frequencies for switching power supply applications. Special attention is given to minimize the propagation delay of the amplifier logic circuit by comparing and maximizing the bandwidth and slew rate of errors. The controller is designed for voltage mode systems that feed forward with either current mode or input voltage.

The protection circuitry includes a current-limit comparator, compatible with the TTL shut-off port, and soft-start pins, which will double the maximum duty cycle clamp. The logic is to completely lock the free operation of providing jitter and prohibit multiple pulses from being output. The 800mV hysteresis undervoltage lockout section ensures low start-up current.
