Product introduction

The control IC UC1842A/3A/4A/5A family is a pin-compatible family of improved versions of the UC3842/3/4/5-pin. Providing the necessary functions to control current mode switching power supplies, this family has the following improved features. The start-up current is guaranteed to be less than 0.5 mA. The oscillator discharge is trimmed to 8.3 milliamperes. In undervoltage lockout, the output stage can absorb a ratio of 1.2V to 5V_VCC's in the past is at least a decade of milliamperes.
