The PWM controller IC UC3886 series is designed for DC-DC converters with average current mode control. It is designed for use with the UC3910 as a 4-bit DAC and voltage monitor. The UC3886 drives an external N-channel MOSFET, which can be used to power high-end microprocessors such as Intel Pentium\Western.

In conjunction with the UC3910 UC3886 5V DC conversion to an adjustable output range of 35mV to 100mV DC system accuracy with steps, from 2.0V to 3.5V.

The oscillator is selected by the user\external resistors and capacitors x92s and is designed for typical 300kHz operation.

Voltage and current amplifiers are available with 3.5MHz gain bandwidth to meet the requirements of high-performance systems.
