Product Introduction

The UCC35705 and UCC35706 devices are the main terminal controllers with 8-pin voltage mode and fast overcurrent protection. These devices are the core of high-speed, high-performance isolated and non-isolated power converters.

The UCC35705/UCC35706 device features an integrated feedforward compensation to improve the converter's performance with a high-speed oscillator. A typical current-sense output delay time of 25 ns provides a fast response to overload cases. The IC also provides an accurate increase in protection that can also be used for disabled operation of the oscillator at the maximum possible maximum duty cycle programmable duty cycle clamp position.

Two UVLO options are available: The lower on-voltage is deliberately UCC35705 for DC-to-DC converters, while the higher on-voltage and wider undervoltage lockout range UCC35706 are ideal for better off-line applications.
