The UCC35705 and UCC35706 devices are the primary end-controller for 8-pin voltage mode and fast overcurrent protection. These devices are part of the high-speed, high-performance, isolated and non-isolated power converters that serve as the core.

The UCC35705/UCC35706 devices feature a high-speed oscillator with integrated feed-forward compensation to improve converter performance. A fast response with a typical current-sense output delay of 25 ns provides overload conditions. The IC also provides an accurate added protection that can also be used for oscillators with disabilities operating in the maximum possible maximum possible duty cycle programmable duty cycle clamp.

Two UVLO options are available. The lower turn-on voltage for DC-DC converters is intentionally based on the UCC35705, while the higher on-voltage and undervoltage lockout range of the UCC35706 is ideal for better off-line applications.
