• Product introduction

The UCC27200/1 family of high-frequency N-channel MOSFET drivers includes a 120-V bootstrap diode for maximum independent input control flexibility and high-side/low-side drivers. This enables MOSFET control of N-channel half-bridge, full-bridge, dual-switch forward, active-clamped forward converters. The low-side and high-side gate drivers can be controlled independently and can turn each other on and off between 1 nanosecond.

The on-chip bootstrap diode eliminates the external discrete diode. Undervoltage lockout is provided for both high-side and low-side drivers, forcing the output drive voltage low if it falls below a specified threshold.

Two UCC2720x versions are available – the UCC27200 has a high noise-immune CMOS input threshold, and the UCC27201 has a TTL-compatible threshold.
