• Product Introduction

UCC27221 UCC27222 is a high-speed, low-voltage design with a synchronous buck driver that outputs today's high-efficiency, low-voltage designers. Using predictive gate drive ™ (PGD) control technology, these drivers reduce the loss of conduction and reverse diode recovery in synchronous rectified MOSFET(s). There is an inverted UCC27221 PWM input, while UCC27222 has a non-inverting PWM input.

The predictive gate drive ™ technology uses stable internal controls and cycles and is therefore transparent to the user. These cycles use any external components, so no additional design is required to take advantage of the high efficiency of these drivers.

This closed-loop feedback system detects the delay in conducting and regulating dead time in the body diode to minimize the conduction time interval.
