The UCC27223 is a high-speed high-efficiency, low-voltage design output synchronous step-down driver today. Using predictive gate drive ™ (PGD) control techniques, these drivers reduce the loss of conducted and reverse diodes in synchronous rectified MOSFET(s) recovery.

The UCC27223 includes an enable pin to control two output operations. A logic lock also includes an SR pull-down that keeps the first PWM input pulse in place, and the RDS(ON) of the purchased device is also designed to minimize the high operating frequency and low output.

This closed-loop feedback system detects body diode conduction and adjusts dead time delays, minimizing conduction intervals. This virtually eliminates temperature, load-dependent delay adjustment when the body diode is on, and targets different MOSFETs.
