The high-speed, low-power integrated circuit contains all the control and driver components required for the UCC2800/1/2/3/4/5 family for off-line and DC fixed frequency current mode switching power supplies with a minimum number of components.

These devices have the same pin configuration as the UC2842/3/4/5 series, and also offer internal full-cycle soft-start and internal leading-edge current-sense input blanking value-added features.

The UCC2800/1/2/3/4/5 family provides a choice of maximum duty cycle and voltage level critically. Reference parts such as UCC2803 and UCC2805 work best with battery-powered systems, while higher reference and UCC2802 and UCC2804 have higher UVLO hysteresis ideal for using these in offline power supplies.
