Product Introduction

This PWM controller UCC3806 BiCMOS family offers a very familiar architecture to improve performance. In the same block diagram and the popular UC3846 series leadouts, the wires have a stronger UCC3806 switching frequency capability while greatly reducing the bias current used in the device. For a typical 50μA start-up and a well-defined voltage threshold current on, these devices can be used from an off-line power supply to a portable device favored for a range of applications for batteries. Dual high current, MOSFET drive current output and fast awareness further enhance the versatility of the device's cycle.

All the advantages of current mode control, including simple end-of-cycle end-of-cycle, voltage feedforward, parallelability with flow, pulse through pulse current limiting and push-pull symmetry correction are easily achievable with the UCC3806 series.
