The UCC3808A is a family of BiCMOS push-pull, high-speed, low-power, pulse-width modulators. All control and drive circuitry required for the UCC3808A is included for off-line or switching power supplies DC-to-DC fixed frequency current mode with minimal number of external components.

The UCC3808A dual output drive stage is arranged in a push-pull configuration. Half of the oscillators of the two output switches use the frequency of a switching trigger. The dead time between the two outputs is typically 60 nanoseconds to 200 nanoseconds, depending on the values of the capacitance and resistance, limiting the duty cycle of each output stage to less than 50%.

The UCC3808A series offers a choice of packages, temperature range options, and undervoltage lockout levels.
