Product Introduction

The economical series of low-power integrated circuits such as BCDMOS UCC3809 includes all control and drive circuits for off-line requirements and isolated DC-to-DC fixed-frequency current-mode switching with minimal external component count power supplies. The internal implementation of the undervoltage lockout circuitry includes a user-accessible voltage reference with a start-up current of less than 100μA, logic to ensure lockout operation, a PWM comparator, a totem pole output, and a stage that absorbs or delivers peak current. The output stage, driving N-channel MOSFETs are suitable for low off.

Oscillator frequency and maximum duty cycle programming two resistors, one capacitor. The UCC3809 series also features a full-cycle soft start.
