Der UCC3810 ist ein Hochgeschwindigkeits-BiCMOS-Controller, der mit zwei synchronen Pulsweitenmodulatoren sowohl in Offline- als auch in DC/DC-Stromversorgungen integriert ist. Die UCC3810-Familie bietet eine vollständige Ausleuchtung des G mit perfekter Synchronisation von zwei identischen PWM-Oszillatoren. Die Sägezahnwelle des Oszillators kann bei Bedarf zur Flankensteilungskompensation verwendet werden.

Durch die abwechselnde Verwendung von schaltenden Flip-Flop-Modulatoren wird sichergestellt, dass ein PWM des UCC3810 andere PWMs nicht versklavt, stört oder beeinflusst. Dieser Schaltauslöser stellt auch sicher, dass jede PWM auf ein maximales Tastverhältnis von 50 % begrenzt ist, um eine ausreichende Ausfallzeit zum Zurücksetzen der Magnetik zu gewährleisten. Der Baustein enthält viele der gleichen Elemente der Current-Mode-Controller-Familie des UC3842, kombiniert mit Verbesserungen des UCC3802.
