UCC28810 UCC28811 is a general lighting power controller for low to medium power lumens and is suitable for those requiring power factor correction and electromagnetic compatibility. It is designed for control of flyback, buck or boost converter critical conduction mode operation. It employs a feedback error handling where a simple command generates current proportional to the input voltage current reference voltage generator transconductance amplifier, current detector (PWM) comparator, PWM logic, and a totem pole driver to drive an external FET.

When operating in critical conduction mode, the PWM circuit self-oscillating and conduction is being governed by a transformer zero-energy detector (PIN) and shutdown by a current detector comparator.
