The UCC28950 enhanced phase shift controller establishes Texas Instruments' industry-standard UCCx895 phase shift with enhanced functionality, providing the best controller family for classroom efficiency in today's high-performance power systems. Implement advanced UCC28950 with synchronous rectification of the output stage to actively control the entire bridge.

The ZVS programmable delay allowed by the primary side signal ensures operation over a wide range of load currents and input voltages, while the load current naturally regulates the switching delay of the secondary side synchronous rectifier, maximizing the efficiency of the entire system.

The UCC28950 also offers a variety of features, including on/off control burst mode and dynamic simple transition in and out continuous current mode (DCM) operation, ensuring zero voltage of operation extended to lighter load light load management.
