Product Introduction

The UCC28C4x family high-performance current-mode PWM controller. They are an enhanced version of BiCMOS pin-to-pin compatible for the industry standard UC284xA family and PWM controller UC284x family. In addition, the lower starting voltage of 7 versions are available as UCC28C41.

Providing the necessary features to control a fixed-frequency, peak-current-mode power supply, the series offers a variety of performance benefits. These devices offer high operating frequencies up to one low start-up and operating current megahertz, reducing start-up for improved efficiency, low losses, and low operating power consumption. The devices also feature a fast current-sense to output delay time of 35 nanoseconds, and a peak output rise of ± 1 and improve the ability of external MOSFETs to drive high current drop times.
