The low input voltage, single inductor boost converter UCCx9411 is optimized for home use, from operating single or two alkaline batteries and registering 3.3 volts, 5 volts, or adjustable outputs in 200 mW steps. The UCCx9411 series also offers an auxiliary 7 V output, primarily for gate drive power supplies, for applications that require an auxiliary output, such as 5 volts, linear regulation. The main output starts at full load with an input voltage of 1 V max, ensuring that the battery is generally as low as 0.8 V and 0.5 V to operate once the converter is operated, thus extending the battery life.

The UCCx9411 series is designed to accommodate demanding applications such as pagers and mobile phones that require couple high efficiency from a few milliwatts to several hundred milliwatts over a wide operating range.
