The UCCx9411 family of low-input-voltage, single-inductor boost converters is optimized from operating single or two-cell alkaline batteries and registered in 200 mW steps as 3.3 volts, 5 volts, or adjustable outputs. The UCCx9411 series also provides an auxiliary 7 V output, primarily for gate drive supplies, and can be used in applications requiring an auxiliary output, such as 5 volt, linear regulation. The main output starts at full load with an input voltage of 1 V maximum, ensuring typically low 0.8 V and 0.5 V operation down once the converter is operated, thereby extending battery use.

The UCCx9411 series is designed to accommodate demanding applications such as pagers and mobile phones that require couples with high efficiency over a wide operating range of a few milliwatts to hundreds of milliwatts.
