Product Introduction

The UCC3960 Primary Side Startup Controller is a unique solution that provides all the primary side functions, single-ended, isolated offline needs, switching power converters, and secondary side PWM control. It is a widely used secondary loop and is particularly suitable for systems required for overload handling under complex conditions.

The secondary control assumes that the output voltage and current measurement is directly connected to the output site as a reference PWM development stage, which is the command of the power supply switch. This digital PWM command can be transmitted to the primary side power switch through a simple and low pulse isolation transformer's cost. Secondary side control, which is easy to monitor and control the load of the analog control loop system with tight coupling.
