In the pulse width modulator UCC35701/UCC35702 home is used to isolate the switching power supply using the primary side control supply. They can be used in both offline applications and DC/DC converter designs, such as in distributed power system architectures, or as telecom power supplies.
These devices have low start-up current, high efficiency off-site starting line allows, but there is enough output driver in the 500kHz switching power MOSFET surplus.
Voltage feedforward compensation, operates over the 5:1 input range, and provides a fast, accurate response to input voltage changes over the 4:1 range. Accurate volt-second pliers and maximum duty cycle limits are also on display.
Fault protection provides pulse current limiting of pulses and the ability to latch programmable numbers after a fault occurs.
