Product Introduction

The UCC3810 is a high-speed BiCMOS controller integrated in off-line and DC-to-DC power supplies using two synchronous pulse width modulators. The UCC3810 family offers a full illumination of G and two identical PWM oscillators in perfect synchronization. The oscillator's sawtooth wave can be used for ramp compensation if required.

Alternating between switching trigger modulators ensures that UCC3810 one PWM does not enslave, interfere, or affect others. This toggle trigger also ensures that each PWM is limited to a maximum duty cycle of 50%, ensuring sufficient downtime to reset the magnets. The unit incorporates many of the same elements of the UC3842's current-mode controller family, combined with UCC3802 improvements.
