UCC3888 the optimization of the controller, it is used for offline, low power consumption, low voltage, and regulated bias power supply. The unique circuit topology allows the device to be seen as two cascading flyback converters, each in a continuous operating mode, with a single driver of two external power switches. The significant advantage of this method is the ability to achieve high slew rates of up to 400 V, no transformers and low internal losses of 2.7 V.

The control algorithm adopts an input line voltage switch with an inverse time on the UCC3888, and sets the shutdown time inversely proportional to the output voltage switch. This action is automatically fed back to the internal control loop and reference.
