The UCC3895 is a phase-shifted PWM controller that implements the control of a half-bridge transfer relative to the other switched-phase full-bridge power stages. It allows fixed frequency to be combined with resonant zero-voltage switching with pulse width modulation to provide high efficiency at high frequencies. The device can be used not only as a voltage-mode or current-mode controller.

While the UCC3895 maintains the functionality of the UC3875/6/7/8 family and UC3879, it improves control logic such as enhancement, adaptive delay setting, and turns off the feature with other features of the controller family. Since it is using the BCDMOS process, it greatly reduces its operation with a supply of bipolar currents than its counterparts.
