Product Introduction

UCC3961 advanced primary-side start-up controller is a unique solution that provides all the functions required for single-ended, isolated switch-mode power supplies incorporated into the secondary-side PWM control converter. It is a secondary control circuit that is widely used and is ideal for systems where handling in complex overload situations is required.

The secondary control assumes that the output voltage and current measurement is directly connected to the output site as a reference PWM development stage, which is the command of the power supply switch. This digital PWM command can be transmitted to the primary side power switch through a simple and low pulse isolation transformer's cost.
