XC6217系列是一款高精度, 低噪音, 高速, 低压差,并有节能功能(GO)的电压调整器芯片。此系列芯片采用了Torex公司的CMOS 生产工艺,具有高速, 抑制纹波和低输入输出压差的特性。XC6217系列芯片内部包括参考电压电路,误差放大器,电流限制器,相位补偿器和驱动三极管。
芯片的节能功能(GO)可通过负载电流的变化自动切换为高速模式(HS)和节能模式(PS)两种工作状态,从而能够根据客户应用的情况,高速, 低功耗, 高效率的工作。这个切换点被设定在芯片的内部。
当在GO引脚上加一个固定高电平时,芯片只工作在高速模式下。当 CE 引脚被置低电平时,芯片停止工作,此外XC6217B/D系列可通过芯片内部的VOUT和VSS之间的开关形成短路,从而使得输出电容(CL)快速放电,加快VOUT引脚上的电压降到VSS的速度。
XC6217系列的输出电容可以使用低ESR的陶瓷电容。
XC6217系列的输出电压选择范围是0.8V到4.0V,间隔为0.05V。
芯片内部的电流限制器可提供输出短路保护。
