The XC6223 series is a high-speed LDO voltage regulator that achieves high accuracy, low noise, high ripple removal, low dropout, and low current consumption.
This IC consists of a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a driver transistor, a current limit circuit, a phase compensation current, an overtemperature protection current, and an inrush current prevention circuit.
Entering a low level to the CE terminal causes the IC to standby.
In the standby state, the internal switch between the VOUT terminal and the VSS terminal can discharge the charging charge charge with a capacitor (CL) to stabilize the output.
This discharge function allows the VOUT terminal to return to the VSS potential at high speed.
Capacitors (CL) for stable output can be used with capacitors with low ESR such as ceramic capacitors.
The output voltage can be set in 0.05V intervals in the range of 1.2V~4.0V by laser trimming.
An overcurrent protection circuit and an overtemperature protection circuit are built-in, and the protection circuit will start working when the output current reaches the limit current or the junction temperature reaches the limit temperature.
