XC9223B082AR 1A synchronous rectified step-down DC/DC converter

The XC9223/XC9224 series is a synchronous rectified step-down DC/DC converter with built-in 0.21 (TYP.) P-channel drive triode and synchronous rectification 0.23 (TYP.) N-channel switch pipe. By reducing the on-impedance of the built-in triode, efficient and stable currents up to 1.0A can be obtained. Small inductors are available due to switching frequencies up to 1.0MHz and 2.0MHz. As a result, the XC9223/XC9224 series is suitable for applications where height is limited or space-saving is required. When the current limit of the power supply is different, such as USB and AC adapters, the current limit value of the chip can be selected as 1.5A (MIN.) When the LIM pin is set high, you can also choose 0.5A (MIN.) When the LIM pin is set low. The XC9223/XC9224 series can choose between fixed PWM control mode or automatic current limiting PFM/PWM control mode via the MODE/SYNC pin. To avoid switching noise, the XC9223/XC9224 series can synchronize an external clock signal with a frequency range of ±25% of the internal clock signal via the MODE/SYNC pin. To prevent chip burnout, the XC9223/XC9224 series has three built-in protection functions: integral protection, overheating shutdown, and short circuit protection. With a built-in U.V.L.O. (Undervoltage Lockout) function, the internal P-channel switch is forcibly shut off when the input voltage is as low as 1.8V or less. The detector function of this series can monitor arbitrary voltages through external resistors.
