XC9223B082AR 1A synchronous rectification step-down DC/DCconverter
The XC9223/XC9224 series are synchronous rectified step-down DC/DC converters with built-in 0.21(TYP.) P-channel drive transistor and synchronous rectification 0.23 (TYP.) N-channel switch tube. By reducing the on-impedance of the built-in transistor, efficient and stable currents up to 1.0A can be obtained.
Due to the switching frequencies of up to 1.0MHz and 2.0MHz, small inductors are available. This makes the XC9223/XC9224 series suitable for applications where height is limited or where space savings are required. WHEN THE CURRENT LIMIT OF THE POWER SUPPLY IS DIFFERENT, SUCH AS USB AND AC ADAPTERS, THE CURRENT LIMIT VALUE OF THE CHIP CAN BE SELECTED BY 1.5A (MIN.) WHEN THE LIM PIN IS SET HIGH, 0.5A (MIN.) CAN ALSO BE SELECTED. When the LIM pin is set low. Through the MODE/SYNC pin, the XC9223/XC9224 series can select fixed PWM control mode or automatically switch current limit PFM/PWM control mode. To avoid switching noise, the XC9223/XC9224 series can synchronize an external clock signal with a frequency range of ±25% of the internal clock signal via the MODE/SYNC pin. In order to prevent the chip from being burned out, the XC9223/XC9224 series has three built-in protection functions: integral protection, thermal shutdown, and short-circuit protection. With a built-in U.V.L.O. (Undervoltage Lockout) function, the internal P-channel switch is forced to shut down when the input voltage is as low as 1.8V or lower.
The detector function of this series can monitor any voltage with external resistors.
