XCL202B121BR-G 400mA coil-integrated DC/DC buck converter

The XCL201/XCL202 series is an ultra-compact (2.5mm×2.0mm, H=1.0mm) step-down DC/DC converter that integrates a coil and a control IC. Only two external ceramic capacitors are needed to form a power supply with a maximum load current of 400mA. The working voltage is between 2.0V~6.0V. The output voltage can be set at 0.05V intervals in the range of 0.8~4.0V. The control IC works at a switching frequency of 1.2MHz, with a built-in synchronous rectification mode of 0.42ΩPch drive transistor and 0.52ΩNch switching transistor. From PWM control (XCL201), PWM/PFM automatic switching control (XCL202). It can achieve high-speed response, low ripple, and high efficiency over the entire load range from light to high loads. Stop the entire circuit during standby to suppress the current consumption below 1.0A. In addition, it has a built-in UVLO (Under Voltage Lock Out) function that forcibly stops the operation of the internal drive transistor when the input voltage is below 1.4V. The XCL201/XCL202 series features a high-speed soft-start capability with a start-up time of 0.25ms (TYP). The XCL201/XCL202 series uses the discharge function of the CL to connect the internal switch between the LX-VSS during standby and discharge the charge of the load capacitor CL through the internal impedance. With this discharge function, the output voltage can return to the VSS level at high speed.
