XCL209F083DR 400mA coil integrated DC/DC converter (micro DC/DC

The XCL208/XCL209 series are ultra-compact (2.5mm×2.15mm, h=1.05mm) step-down DC/DC converters that integrate a coil and a control IC. Only two external ceramic capacitors can provide a maximum load current of 400mA. The built-in coil makes the circuit simple, and the noise and operating failures caused by the circuit wiring are minimized. The operating voltage range is 1.8V (2.0V) ~ 6.0V, and it can be used to provide power supply for applications such as alkaline batteries (2 units) or AC adapters (5V). The output voltage can be selected from internally fixed (0.8V~4.0V) products and externally set products. The XCL208/XCL209 series products can be selected from PWM control (XCL208) and PWM/PFM automatic conversion control (XCL209) with synchronous rectification at 3.0MHz. Because the XCL208 series products are fixed frequency, they can suppress output ripple. The XCL209 series products can achieve low ripple and high efficiency over the entire load range from light to high loads, and can extend the operating time of the battery. In addition, a soft-start, CL auto-discharge function is available, and a low-level signal can be input from the CE pin to put the IC into standby state.
