Product introduction

The XTR105 is a monolithic 4 - 20mA, 2-wire current transmitter with two precision current sources. It provides complete current excitation on a single integrated circuit of platinum resistance temperature sensors and bridges, instrumentation amplifiers, and current output circuits.

Linear circuits provide versatile second-order correction of RTDs, typically achieving 40:1 linearity improvements.

The gain of the instrumentation amplifier is configurable over a wide range of temperature or pressure measurements. The current total transmitter adjustment error is low enough to allow adjustment in many applications. This includes zero output current drift, span drift, and nonlinearity. The supply voltage of the XTR105 drops to 7 during cyclic operation.
