ZLDO330 Low dropout linear regulator
description
The ZLDO series of low dropout linear regulators operate with a very low dropout voltage, typically only 30mV with a load current of 100mA. The regulator series has an output voltage range of 2.7 to 18 volts, and this device provides an output voltage of 3.3 volts. ZLDO330 consumes only 560 mA of typical quiescent current and is rated to provide up to 300mA of load current. A low battery flag is a condition that indicates a potential power failure. If the input voltage drops to a regulated output voltage of 300mV, the false output is pulled down. The device also features a high-level disable control. Once deactivated, the quiescent current of the ZLDO drops to the usual 11 milliamps. The SM8 Zetex packaged with ZLDO devices in an 8-pin small form factor surface-mount package is ideal for space-saving applications. The device is ideal for low dropout, low quiescent current, and small size, low power consumption, and battery-powered applications. Battery-powered circuitry that can make low battery flags and shutdown functions for specific purposes.
