ZLDO485Low dropout linear regulator

description The ZLDO series of low dropout linear regulators operate with a very low dropout voltage, typically only 30mV with a load current of 100mA. The regulator series offers output voltages ranging from 2.7 to 18 volts, and the device offers an output voltage of 4.85 volts. ZLDO485 consumes a typical quiescent current of only 1 milliamp and is rated to provide up to 300mA of load current. A low battery flag is a condition that indicates a potential power failure. If the input voltage drops to a regulated output voltage of 200mV, the false output is pulled down. The device also features a high-level disable control. Once deactivated, the quiescent current of the ZLDO drops to the usual 11 milliamps. The SM8 Zetex packaged with ZLDO devices in an 8-pin small form factor surface-mount package is ideal for space-saving applications. The device is ideal for low dropout, low quiescent current, and small size, low power consumption, and battery-powered applications.
