The TAS5112A is a high performance, integrated stereo digital amplifier power stage designed to drive 6-Speakers up to 50 watts per channel. The device integrates TI's PurePath digital technology and provides high-quality, high-efficiency, true digital ™ audio amplification in conjunction with a PWM digital audio processor (TAS50XX) and a simple passive filter demodulation.

The efficiency of this digital amplifier is typically 90%, reducing the size required for both the power supply and the heatsink. Overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, undervoltage protection are built into the TAS5112A, maintenance and failure of equipment conditions that may damage the system speakers.
