The LTC ® 1566-1 is a 7th order continuous-time low-pass filter with a passband gain of 12 dB. Selectivity, linearity, and dynamic range make the LTC1566-1 suitable for filtered data communication or data acquisition systems. The filter attenuates 40 dB at 1.5 × F CUTOFF, at least 60dB at frequencies above 10MHz.
LTC1566-1 has an input reference noise of 62μVRMS at 2MHz bandwidth. The signal level in receiver applications is small-medium, with no spurious dynamic range and 71 dB filtering.
With a cut-off frequency accuracy of 5%, the LTC1566-1 can be used in applications where the filters are matched, such as the I and Q channels of the transceiver, pairs.
Differential inputs and outputs provide a simple wireless system interface. The high-impedance inputs are easily coupled to differential demoders or D/A conversion. The output DC common-mode voltage and output DC offset voltage are adjustable, so the signal path of the driving A/D converter or differential modulator can be optimized.
