The LTC ® 1566-1 is a 7th order continuous-time low-pass filter with a passband gain of 12 dB. Selectivity, linearity and dynamic range make the LTC1566-1 suitable for filtering data communication or data acquisition systems. The attenuation of the filter is 40 dB at 1.5 × FCUTOFF,At least 60dB at frequencies above 10MHz.
The LTC1566 - 1 has an input referred noise of 62μVRMSBandwidth at 2MHz. The signal level in receiver applications is small, with no spurious dynamic range of 71 dB filtering.
With 5% cutoff frequency accuracy, the LTC1566-1 can be used in applications that require matching filters, such as transceiver I and Q channels, pairs.
Differential inputs and outputs provide a simple interface to the wireless system. The high impedance inputs are easily coupled to differential decomposition modulators or D/A conversions. The output DC common-mode voltage and output DC offset voltage are adjustable, so the signal path of a driving A/D converter or differential modulator can be optimized.
