LM95172EWG is an integrated digital output temperature sensor with a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) and MICROWIRE™ compatible interface in a 10-pin Cerpack high-temperature ceramic package. It features a very linear sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with high accuracy, fast conversion rates, and very low output noise. With operating temperatures as low as -40°C and optimized accuracy from 120°C to 200°C, it is ideal for use in high-temperature applications.
The over-temperature alarm output (^ OVERTEMP) says that when the die temperature exceeds the programmed T HIGH limit. The user-set T LOW limit creates a trigger point that is a lag when the ambient temperature is close to the temperature stabilization.
LM95172EWG can be programmed from 13-bit (0.0625°C per LSB), 16-bit (0.0078125°C per LSB) resolution. Fastest conversion time at 35 ms, LM95172EWG temperature set at 13-bit resolution output.
