The UC28023 and UC28025 are optimized controllers for PWM high-frequency switch-mode power supply applications with fixed frequency. The UC28023 is a single-ended topology UC28025 while providing dual alternating double-ended outputs and a single output in a full-bridge topology.
Designed as a cost-effective solution with minimal external components, the UC2802x includes an oscillator, temperature compensation reference, wide-band width error amplifier, a high-speed current-sense comparator and high-current high-efficiency totem pole output, directly driving an external MOSFET.
The protection circuitry includes a threshold current limit comparator with 1 - V, compatible with TTL shut-off ports, and a soft-start pin that will double the maximum duty cycle clamp.
