The ADMP521 has a bottom radio hole and a PDM digital outputUltra-low noise microphone
The ADMP521 is a high performance, ultralow noise, low power, digital output, bottom-radio, omnidirectional MEMS microphone. The ADMP521 consists of a MEMS microphone element, an impedance converter amplifier, and then a fourth-order sigma-delta modulator. The digital interface allows time multiplexing of the pulse density modulation (PDM) outputs of two microphones on a single data line using a single clock. The ADMP521 is fully functionally and pin-compatible with the ADMP421 microphone, providing an easy upgrade path.
The ADMP521's extremely high SNR and sensitivity of −26 dBFS make it an excellent choice for far-field applications. The extended wideband frequency response delivers highly clear, natural sound. Low power consumption and sleep mode (less than 1 μA) extend battery life in portable applications. A built-in particulate filter improves the reliability of the device. The ADMP521 complies with the TIA-920 standard:Telecommunications telephone terminal equipment broadband digital cable telephone transmission requirements。
The ADMP521 is available in a thin 3 mm × 4 mm × 1 mm surface-mount package that supports reflow soldering without introducing sensitivity degradation. The ADMP521 is halogen free. /p>
