ADMP521 Ultra-low noise microphone with bottom pickup hole and PDM digital output

ADMP521 is a high-performance, ultra-low-noise, low-power, digital-output, bottom-lobby omnidirectional MEMS microphone. ADMP521 consists of a MEMS microphone element and an impedance converter amplifier, followed by a fourth-order sigma-delta modulator. The digital interface allows for time-multiplexing of the pulse density modulation (PDM) outputs of two microphones on a single data line using a single clock. ADMP521 fully compatible with the functions and pins of ADMP421 microphones, providing a simple and easy upgrade path.

The ADMP521's extremely high SNR and sensitivity of −26 dBFS make it an excellent choice for far-field applications. The extended wideband frequency response enables highly clear natural sound. The low power consumption and sleep mode (less than 1 μA of power consumption) extend battery life for portable applications. The built-in particulate filter increases the reliability of the device. ADMP521 Comply with TIA-920 standard: Transmission requirements for broadband digital cable telephones for telecommunications telephone terminal equipment.

ADMP521 are available in thin 3 mm × 4 mm × 1 mm surface mount packages that support reflow soldering without causing sensitivity degradation. ADMP521 does not contain halogens. /p>
